The following tutorials are designed to help you become more familiar with the features and functionality of the Global Trading System.

How To Initially Log On to GTS

Currency Pair Views

This tutorial shows the two different Currency Pair Views and how to access the different Currency Pairs. Currency Pair View I Shows 10 Currency Pairs. Currency Pair View II shows 8 Currency Pairs.

This tutorial will show you how to place Entry Orders on the GTS Platform. An Entry Order is a Pending Order that is placed at a price above/below the current Market Price. When this Price is hit the order is activated and becomes a Market Order.

How to Place a Market Order

How to Place Stops/Limits

How to Place Trailing Stops

This tutorial shows how to place Trailing Stops and how to know when the trailing stop will move. Trailing Stops allow clients to designate a stop order and choose an increment in which the stop will trail the market.

How to Close an Order

Hedging

This tutorial shows how the GTS Platform gives clients the ability to Hedge. Hedging allows the trader to be both Long and Short in the same Currency Pair at the same time.

Close and Reverse

This tutorial shows how to use the CAR button which closes an existing open position and opens a new open position in the opposite direction. For example if you are Long USD/JPY and hit CAR it will close this position and open a new order that is Short USD/JPY.

Alerts

This tutorial shows how to use the different SMS/Email Alerts that will notify you of either market rates or Stops/Limits being activated. Call Level Alerts- notifies you when different prices are reached in the system. Manage Alert- notifies you when stops/limits are activated and close open trades. You can place up to 5 of each of these alerts.
